Eva Dine Kerr, 75, of Norman died Sunday at Norman Regional Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Norman with pastor Mike Raines officiating.

Mrs. Kerr was born April 30, 1927, to Dave and Maggie Lewis. She attended Sayre High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in math and education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. She joined the U.S. Army at 16 and served as a nurse. She then taught math in Tuttle and Norman High School, where she retired. Her hobbies were reading and tutoring. She gave her body to the OU Medical School for research.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kerr.

She is survived by a sister, Opal Yell; a son, Charles Kerr; and daughters Senta Kerr and Deborah Alford.

Memorial contributions may be made to Concord Missionary Baptist Church.
